OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

Explain what is meant by “field” and compare the properties of gravitational, electric, and magnetic forces in terms of particles affected, factors affecting the magnitude, and their relative strengths.

OpenStudy (mww):

physics forum. But basically a field is a region of influence in which a force can act. You should then think about what things the force acts on and how strong it is.

OpenStudy (mtalhahassan2):

So..we can talk about the gravitational, Electrical and magnetic field a bit more?

OpenStudy (mww):

well think of what the forces can affect. Can a magnetic field pull in everything? Also how close does the object need to be to the field to observe the effect?
