@SolomonZelman can you plz help I have a deadline
@Loser66 can you help plz
can you plz help i don't understand anything... :/
Part A: The area of a square is (16x2 - 8x + 1) square units. Determine the length of each side of the square by factoring the area expression completely. Show your work. Factoring this we get: (4x-1)(4x-1) So each side of this square is (4x-1) Part B: The area of a rectangle is (81x2 - 4y2) square units. Determine the dimensions of the rectangle by factoring the area expression completely. Show your work. Factoring this we get: (9x - 2y)(9x + 2y) So one side is (9x - 2y) and the other is (9x + 2y) Part C: The volume of a rectangular box is (x3 - 9x2 - 4x + 36) cubic units. Determine the dimensions of the rectangular box by factoring the volume expression completely. Show your work. This one requires the Rational Root Theorem (I hope you're familiar with it). Plugging in we find that x=2 and so (x-2) is a factor. Using Synthetic Division we get the quadratic: x^2 - 7x - 18 And we can factor this into: (x+2)(x-9) So the three sides are (x+2), (x-9), and (x-2)
