Help with fluids please! A 1.5 cm -diameter venturi flowmeter is inserted in a 2.5 cm -diameter pipe carrying water (density =1000 kg/m3). The pressure difference between venturi and unconstricted pipe is 15 kPa. Find the flow speed in the pipe. Find the volume flow rate.

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

Using Bernoulli's Eqn?? you have a stagnation point at the tip of the pitot, ie v = 0, so Bernoulli becomes \(P_1 + \frac{1}{2} \rho v_1^2 = P_2 \) and you can get v from that for the vol flow rate you have \(\dot V = v . A\), where A is cross sect area make sense?
