will medal. Sal needed 10.1 ft of 4-inch molding and 12.9 ft of 5-inch molding for his tree house. Which statement best describes how much of each piece of molding the sales clerk should cut?

A. The clerk should cut exactly 10.1 ft of 4-inch molding and 12.9 ft of 5-inch molding so that Sal has enough 4-inch molding and isn't paying for 5-inch molding he doesn't need. B. The clerk should average out the two lengths and cut exactly 11.5 ft of 4-inch molding and 11.5 ft of 5-inch molding to make sure that he has enough molding. C. The clerk should cut exactly 10 ft of 4-inch molding and 13 ft of 5-inch molding since the sum is 23 ft of molding and that is the same as 10.1 + 12.9.
