Which number is irrational?
What do you think the answer is? Hint: \(\Large\bf \sqrt{\frac{a}{b}} =\frac{\sqrt{a}}{\sqrt{b}}\)
A or D?
@Ms-Brains
Ok, using my hint, can you tell me the following: For A \(\sqrt{81}=\) \(\sqrt{2}=\) For D \(\sqrt{25}=\) \(\sqrt{81}=\) Which one has an irrational number?
I am thinking D Because 25 cannot be divided equally...
No, 5 * 5 = 25 so \(\sqrt{25} = 5\)
Oh, so A. I forgot about 2. It can only be divided by 1 and itself.
Exactly! Great job!
Thanks!
It was my pleasure!
Um.... I hate to be a jerk or anything, but we (all of us at OpenStudy) Are not allowed to help on quizzes. So as you see this might concern some of us http://prntscr.com/b0o7ya
@Ms-Brains its from k12.... everyone here posts questions from k12 -_- XD and actually its a lesson assessment which is technically k12's homework
Oh! Sorry, I didn't know. Its just that I have these everyday I am used to calling it an assessment, so I didn't catch that until now.
It's no problem. @PlzHelpWillDoWhatICan Just be careful, and don't do it again please. ^-^ I wouldn't want you in trouble or anything! @MysticFury Yes, but do you get graded for it? And does that grade make you class grade higher? If yes, than I think that's cheating, and breaking school and openstudy policy.
@Ms-Brains well yes , but you also get graded on homework and your homework makes your class grade higher as well ....
Also, some people just ask for answers. I try and get help so I can solve other questions that are similar.
Guys. All I know is no helping on quizzes or homework, or anything you are graded on. We just help each other study here.
