Task 3: Answer all questions to the task. Be sure to include formulas for finding each volume and show how you substitute the numbers into the formula. Total points: 10 points
First lets find the volume of the scoop of ice cream...So we know that it has a radius of 3.5 cm....Now the volume of a sphere is represented by this formula... \(\Huge{V=\frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}}\) Since we already known of the radius we would just input it.... \(\Huge\color{green}{V=\frac{4}{3} \pi (3.5^{3})}\) What would be the volume of the ice cream?

1346.275
@563blackghost
am i right
Not quite. \(\Huge{V=\frac{4\times(3.14) \times 42.875}{3}}\)
i forgot to divide
179.50
Correct ^^ So the volume of the scoop of ice cream is \(\Large{179.5 cm^{3}}\) ~~~~~~~~~~~ Now that we found out the volume of the scoop of ice cream we would find the volume of the cone....so the formula for the volume of the cone is... \(\Huge{V=\frac{1}{3} \pi r^{2} h}\) So we know that the height is 10cm and that the radius is 3cm so we input... \(\Huge\color{orange}{V=\frac{1}{3} (3.14)(3^{2})(10)}\) What is the volume of the cone?
847.8
Not quite. \(\Huge{V=\frac{3.14 \times 9 \times 10}{3}}\)
94.2
You got it ^^ So now that we now both volumes lets compare them.... The volume of the cone is \(\LARGE{94.2 cm^{3}}\).... The volume of the scoop of ice cream \(\LARGE{179.5cm^{3}}\)..... Which is larger the volume of the cone or the volume of the scoop of ice cream?
scoop
Correct ^^ So that would mean that the cone will not hold the scoop of ice cream because the volume is greater.
thx so much i owe u one
np ^^ Im glad I was helpful. If you ever need help in the future and see me on just tag me in your question :D P.S I love the show NARUTO ^^
