OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

someone explain this to me

OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

OpenStudy (xguardians):

All angles in a triangle add up to what value?

OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

180?

OpenStudy (xguardians):

So do a + b + c = 180 and solve for the missing value.

OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

but thats not a triangle

OpenStudy (xguardians):

Where a b and c represent the degrees in the angle.

OpenStudy (xguardians):

Yes, that is a triangle, it has 3 sides.

OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

oh ok

OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

well i thought it was called something else because the sides are supposed to be like equal

OpenStudy (xguardians):

Those are equilateral triangles, but that means that all the angles are the same. Regardless of the type of triangle, if it has 3 sides, all the angles will add up to 180 degrees. So solve it that way - good luck! The answer is 80 degrees so you can check your work.

OpenStudy (rootbeer003):

ok thanks!
