Any one mind helping me? Having a rough time understanding this. Will give Medal and fan! (Guess is B)
Which of the following excerpts is structured correctly? A: "She wants to go outside . . . and walk the dog." Jesse said. B: "She wants to go outside," said Jesse. "And walk the dog." C: "She wants to go outside," Jesse said, "and walk the dog." D: Jesse said "she wants to go outside, and walk the dog."
My first guess was A but I was incorrect..
i think its D
Why would it be D? I would think you have to capitalize the beginning letter in dialogue.

Ah, yes @Angiedoesschool2275
It would be c
Thanks! Do you mind me asking why it would be C?
Even though B looks correct it is not, there is no need for a period after Jesse, because it the two sentences are about the same topic (they share the same idea). So you would just put a coma after Jesse and lowercase the "a" in.
and*
Ah, okay! That makes more sense. Thank you so much! ^-^
