Which is the side length of a cube with a volume of 216 in3?

\[x^3=216=\left( ? \right)^3,x=?\]
volume for a cube = \(s^3\) where s = side length we need to find what s equals to \(s^3 = 216\) since this is requiring us to cube the side length to find the volume, we need to do the inverse of cubing (which is finding the cube root) of 216 to get to the side length \[s = \sqrt[3]{216}\]
