@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know the law of cosine what say ?

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2(c)(b)cosA b^2 = a^2 + c^2 - 2(a)(c)cosB c^2 = b^2 + a^2 - 2(a)(b)cosC

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

@jhonyy9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes so use it for cos theta

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I forgot how to solve this kind of equation \[2^{2}=4^{2}+5^{2}-2(4)(5)\cos \theta \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with what angle will be correspondent from these above wrote angle theta ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how ?just rewrite it 2*4*5costheta = 16 +25-4 do you can continue it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but bc you need findeing 2*4*5 cos theta so just calculi 16+25-4= ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the last one is right answer ok ? the 37 - yes ?

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

was my pleasure bye bye

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

Wait, I'm confused

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

The answer is 37?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes - just you need check it

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

I'm confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what ?

OpenStudy (ohohaye):

Can you draw it for me please, I'm lost on the process

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why ? how ? the law of cosine in a right triangle say that equal the adjacent side divide hypotenuse so just ise this in case of a non right triangle - ok. ?
