OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

Wouldn't it depend on where you are on Earth? Or hemisphere atleast

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

B Would be the beginning of Summer June 21st Do you need the explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you could that would help :) Thank you so much!

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

At position B the Northern Hemisphere receives more sunlight (the axis points toward the sunlight. Since the Sun revolves around the Sun in a counter-clockwise direction, do you think you can determine the dates for C, D and A?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Incidentally, at position B, that marks the beginning of WINTER for the Southern Hemisphere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be, C Fall equinox, September 22nd, D Winter Solstice, December 21st, A Spring solstice, March 20th? And it would be opposite for the Southern Hemisphere because the sun is on the opposite side like summer is winter and winter is summer?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Gee - sorry - yes you are right (I was on another website for a while - sorry again)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope its fine! Thank you again!
