A Few Math Questions Help :) , Would really appreciate any help , Questions have already been answered all I need is someone to check over , Thank You :)

OpenStudy (carolina4567):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (phi):

a "local minimum value" is the "y value" at any "valley" do you see any valleys (or dips) ? can you read the y value ?

OpenStudy (carolina4567):

Yes , -3 , -1 , -5

OpenStudy (carolina4567):

Mostly -3 and -5

OpenStudy (phi):

yes, -3 and -5 How do you get -1 ? another way to identify a local min, it's where the curve "holds water"

OpenStudy (carolina4567):

I accidentaly included the point (1,-1)

OpenStudy (phi):

the value -1 (at x=1) is a "local max" . if you are there, then if you move left or right, the curve gets smaller (the y value is more negative)

OpenStudy (phi):

for the 2nd part of the question they want the x values of the local mins.

OpenStudy (carolina4567):

So -2 , 4

OpenStudy (phi):

yes

Thank You So Much , Mind Helping With Other Ones ? @phi
