Geometry help real quick please? I will fan and medal

OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):

A storage tank holds 235,500 in^3 of a chemical. The chemical is dispensed to completely fill 25 identical cylindrical containers, each with a radius of 5 in. What is the height of the cylindrical containers? Use 3.14 to approximate pi.

OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):

I got this wrong and I need help figuring out what I did wrong.

Directrix (directrix):

Volume of a smaller cylinder is this: V = 3.14 * 5^2 * h. Each one holds 235,500 / 25 cubic inches of volume.

Directrix (directrix):

235,500 / 25 = 9420 So, 9420 = 3.14 * 5^2 * h Solve that for h.

Directrix (directrix):

Did you get h = 120 inches? @isuckatschool43

OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):

yes i did

Directrix (directrix):

Alrighty, then.

OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):

That's the answer?

Directrix (directrix):

Yes. That is what I got.

OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):

Okay, thank you :) have a nice night

Directrix (directrix):

You're welcome.
