Medal and fan ?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you'll have to calculate each of the values to see which one is correct multiply the number parts in the usual way as for the '10^x' parts use the rules of indices for example 10^2 * 10^3 = 10^(2+3) = 10^5 10^6 / 10^-2 = 10^( 6 -(-2)) = 10 ^8 when multiplying you add the indices when dividing you subtract the indices

OpenStudy (welshfella):

3.56 * 10^2 --------- 1.09 * 10^4 first 3.56 / 1.09 = 3.266 and 10^2 / 10^4 = 10^(2-4) = 10^-2 so this is 3.266 8 10^-2

OpenStudy (welshfella):

i gtg right now

OpenStudy (welshfella):

3.266 * 10^-2

OpenStudy (welshfella):

must go im afraid
