ok so for real world situations where you need to know the average for example the average price of gas so you know how much money you need to spend on gas each month then for mode maybe you need to know the biggest price gap to find out how big of a difference the price of t-shirts are compared to another store median you could find out the price that you are likely to be around for something those are just some ideas
