***WILL FAN AND MEDAL*** (See pic below) Compare the amount of variability in the two distributions. Is the variability about the same, or is it different? If different, which monthly temperature distribution has more variability? Explain A The variability is different. The variability in New York is much greater compared to San Francisco. B The variability is different. The variability in San Francisco is much greater compared to New York. C The variability is the same All I need to know is the formula.

D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Omg XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep D is 100%.

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its not D though. ;-;

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

I wish I could medal myself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could be E: (All I need to know is the formula.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

._.

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

I have a serious one that makes sense to me but I have no idea what the formula would be.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@MysticFury @SnuggieLad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is it @dmezzullo

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

I think it would be A. Because it explains the graphs the best.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Agreed since the points are spaced out in New York it increases the variability. San Francisco is more lumped together.

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

Because the temps in NY are all over the chart, while the temps in SF are closer together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What he said.

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

Need more? @Lilly_Jarzen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No I got it thx!

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

Welcome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wish I could give a medal to both of you :/

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

I'll give him one for you (:

Thank you @dmezzullo!
