What is the solution to the equation? 12y + 6 = –18 A. y = –2 B. y = –1 C. y = 1 D. y = 2

OpenStudy (salwan):

b

OpenStudy (dmezzullo):

You wanna get Y by itself. And by doing that you need to subtract the 6 on both sides. Then you will have 12y=-12 Then Divide 12 over on both sides. End up with -1.
