|dw:1462924256126:dw| so.. now that you know the radius of the semi-circle, then get the circumference of that cirlce, and half that, is the circumference or "surface area" of the semi(half) circle \(\textit{area of a circle}=2\pi r \begin{cases} r=radius \end{cases} \\ \quad \\ \textit{area of a semi-circle}=\cfrac{2\pi r}{2}\)
