http://prntscr.com/b2o04e Help please!

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

try to solve this yourself (hint: it is the same method as another question you've asked before)

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Lol I've asked so many questions though.

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

think about the solution to this one http://prnt.sc/b2nv6q

MsBrains (ms-brains):

do you mind walking me through it again, please? ^-^

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

you have to use right angle trigonometry so think about what values are important to find x and which trig function you have to use

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

we know the angle is 32, the opposite side is x, and the hypotenuse is 4.2 so which function can be used?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I've never worked on problems like this before. o.O anything involving sin, cos, tan was not taught by my teacher. Sorry. >3 I got no clue on solving this...

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

thats unfortunate. I suggest you watch a khan academy video on right angle trigonometry, as its pretty important

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

but ill give you an overview

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Okay. Thank you!

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

basically sine cosine and tangent are functions used to relate angles of a triangle with sides in other words, if you have a right angle triangle, you can use it to solve for an angle given side lengths and vice versa

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

so if we have a triangle like this|dw:1462951157887:dw|

OpenStudy (kashmoneyjr):

|dw:1462951187308:dw|
