How the World Came to Be

Five tiny kittens were born into the night: Fire, Water, Sky, Earth, and Death. Fire had a bright reddish yellowish orangish pelt with yellow eyes that sparkled and glittered brightly. Water had a blue-gray pelt that seemed to shimmer as she ran. Water's eyes were a bright, shimmering silver. Sky had a white pelt and had white, blind eyes. Earth has a dull, brown pelt with dull green eyes. Death was the oddest looking of all kittens. He had a black pelt with icy blue eyes and hardly ever spoke. These important kittens were dropped onto the Earth, which was a void of nothingness.
The kittens were old enough to pick there territories. Sky, though he was blind, he was perhaps the wisest of all kittens. He chose the upper half of the circular void. Earth, Fire, Water, and Death were sent off to ind their own territory. Water made dashing streams, rivers, and lakes. Earth created ground and grass. Fire made volcanoes. Sky made bright clouds all over the upper half o the Earth. Death had nothing in his small quadrant, but h made quite a few things. He made animals to scamper around the Earth. He made pain (Much to Earth's displeasure. Earth had stepped on a small thorn and wingspaned his paw.)
Soon, the kittens grew bored. Fire was the first to go astray from his territory. I wandered up to where Sky was . Sky chased him though, in many small circles. It created something that we now know as the sun. However, the sun disappears every once in a while and they say that during that time, you might see where Fire's paws skidded through the sky. Earth had wandered over to where Water was, and Water to where Earth had been designated, creating refreshing streams through the Earth. Sky had traveled close to the ground, creating mist. Death eventually wandered into Earth's designated area, accidentally killing the grass that was near him. But, Death was put back in his small lonely quadrant, only able to create life and destroy it. He eventually created human, which soon dominated over the land. The humans forced th four elements into hiding, afraid of the small kittens. But, as they got used to the tiny kittens. The kittens ares said to roam about the Earth still, keeping life going on. But as the kittens die as all things must, the world shall end and be destroyed.
