OpenStudy (nickthurmm1):

Make a conjecture about the next item in the sequence. 6, 8, –32, –30, 120

OpenStudy (the_puppet1):

Plz help @dannyrod2000

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

122, -488

OpenStudy (nickthurmm1):

adding 2

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

The pattern is: add 2, then multiply by -4, so the next two numbers in the sequence are: 122, -488

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

understood?

OpenStudy (nickthurmm1):

yes sir

OpenStudy (nickthurmm1):

Make a conjecture about the next item in the sequence. 6, 12, 9, 18, 15

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

6 and 12 are doubled, then 3 is taken from 12 to get 9, which is then doubled to get 18 then 3 is taken from 18 to get 15, so you must double 15 to get 30, its a back and forth sequence. so its 30

OpenStudy (nickthurmm1):

i thought about that second guessed my self

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

awesome!
