OpenStudy (a_ryba):

Can somebody please explain and help me get a better understanding of the side-splitter theorem? (Geometry) I still can't understand it and it's on my test tomorrow

OpenStudy (phi):

you start with a triangle, and a 3rd line that is *parallel* to one of the sides |dw:1463001797447:dw|

OpenStudy (phi):

next, you can label the sides like this |dw:1463001948413:dw| and make "ratios" you have to understand how ratios work. most of the time, 3 of those letters are numbers, and they want you to find the number for the 4th letter
