What current events are causing some states to talk about seceding from the Union again?


Do those current events compare in any way to the events in the 1800s? Explain your answer.

People and politicians of today that want to secede are in the gross minority. In other words they would never win in an election if it came to that.

That and those states that do talk about this are states that need the most federal funding so seceding would only harm them further
