OpenStudy (marcelie):

main goal covert your equations y= mx+b

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

can u do dat

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@alivejeremy @anthonygarrison875 @austinwst13 @MrNood

OpenStudy (alivejeremy):

?

OpenStudy (marcelie):

just solve it and ill check your work

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

idk how to

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

cant u just tell me here or in dms

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@ijal @pooja195

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

does anyone know the answer???

OpenStudy (marcelie):

ill just solve you one bc im kinda busy ._.

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

can u please do all ill make different questions and give u a bunch of medals

OpenStudy (marcelie):

y= -x-1 y= 3x+7 they have different slopes

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

i don’t get it wuts the answer

OpenStudy (marcelie):

one solution

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

what?

OpenStudy (marcelie):

the first equation is one solution

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@marcelie what do you mean????

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

you mean no solution because it doesn’t say one solution

OpenStudy (marcelie):

x+ y = -1 -6x+2y= 14 so ill i did was i solve for the equation because i want both of my equations to be in this form y=mx+b

OpenStudy (marcelie):

oops yes itll be no solution

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

oh ok thanks whats the next one?

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

i can make a new topic if u want more medals

OpenStudy (marcelie):

no its okay lol

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

can u do the other ones though?? i really need to finish this

OpenStudy (marcelie):

2nd one -x +2y = 4....... y= 1/2x +2 -3x+6y=11 .....y= 1/2 x +11/6 no solution according to the chart that i linked here bc they are parallel have same slope but diff y intercept

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

but theres only one “no solution” i cant put it many times

OpenStudy (marcelie):

hmm hold on let me solve them

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

tysm!!

OpenStudy (marcelie):

okay so im thinking its like this if the problem doesnt satisfy the 3 parts if its solution , parallel or many... then we have to elimination the first problem we were doing the the coordinates will be (-2, 1)

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@marcelie like this?

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@baru

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@raffle_snaffle

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

what is the question?

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@raffle_snaffle i posted a picture

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@raffle_snaffle Match the systems of linear equations with their solutions.

OpenStudy (jekdidkdjrjrjjr):

@raffle_snaffle can u pls help!!!

OpenStudy (marcelie):

yes correct
