So what you would usually do is choose two points that would best fit the line and then put them into this formula (y2-y1)/(x2-x1). The points I would choose are (-1,5) and (3,3).

Oh. Silly mistake. The points should be (-1, 7) and (3,3). Now just solve the equation (3-7)/(3+1) = -1. So the line so far is y = -x + b and you need to find a B. But since there's only one equation with -x I'm sure you know the answer ;)
