3.a. Consider the formula for water. What keeps the hydrogen attached to the oxygen in a water molecule? if you could add energy and pull the molecule apart, would all the atoms be whole, or would some of one atom stay with another. What part stays? 3.b. Back to the formula for water -- what does it tell you about how many atoms of oxygen and how many atoms of hydrogen make up each molecule? 3.c. I'm not sure I understand the question. Are there any clues in the textbook about reactions in a closed container?
