In a arithmetic sequence there the difference between any two consecutive terms is either a addition or subtraction \((a_2-a_1)\). In geometric sequence the next term is increased or decreased by a common ratio \(\Large\frac{a_1}{a_2}\). \(\tiny\;PS. ~Not~good~at~explaining. :3\)
