OpenStudy (rockhauler98):

Can someone rephrase this plz The Base would be the Triangle and the Area of the Triangle = (1/2)(base)*(height) = (1/2)*(14.4)*(2.1) = ? (we can assume that 14.4 was the base for this because it is the side that is perpendicular (right angle) to the given height in the triangle) Then the Height would be = 8.25 So the Volume would be = (area of the Triangle) * (Height) = [answer] (round to the nearest whole number) ill do anythin

OpenStudy (welshfella):

looks like you are talking about a prism with a triangular base.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

and you finding the volume of the prism. The method you are using is correct. Can you do the calculations?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the volume = 1/2 * 14.4 * 2.1 * 8.25
