OpenStudy (legitemal):

I will give a medal to best answer. Im trying to figure out the formula for a bigger problem. How do you find f(b), if you are given f(a), and f'(t)?

satellite73 (satellite73):

probably a mean value theorem problem but it is incomplete as stated

OpenStudy (legitemal):

It is asking for the formula.

OpenStudy (luquifquif):

f'(t)=(f(b)-f(a))/(b-a)

OpenStudy (luquifquif):

thats most likely the mean value theorem

OpenStudy (luquifquif):

it just means that it is tangent to the value f(t)
