I am sorry if I hurt you, but I am tired of fighting a war that I am losing with myself.

Starting over didn't work, can't you see?
There is nothing left of me,
I'm hollow, I'm cold, I am a stone.
The more I try, the more I fall,
I hurt others with my one little flaw.
My smile is fake, my posture stiff
My expression is expressionless.
I keep looking at the sky, rain falling down
I sit there and cry, wanting to drown.
The world is cruel haven't you heard?
It doesn't follow the Golden Rule
It isn't fair, It isn't kind
It tears you apart,
Starting in your mind
You can pray,
Begging for a better day
Or just give up your life
It is easier that way
