Well as far eliminating options would go, D is optional. (pun intended) Also, B would be incorrect because there is in fact obviously an error. Its down to A or C. What particularly makes you choose A? Remember that when you read it out loud, there is going to be a pause. Identify the pause with the punctuation. :)
