OpenStudy (zachnovo15):

What do you think? I say 145

OpenStudy (swamijatin2):

here what is x .area or lenght

OpenStudy (tori1423):

length of arc

OpenStudy (swamijatin2):

@Zachnovo15

OpenStudy (swamijatin2):

okay

OpenStudy (zachnovo15):

It's the length of the arc

OpenStudy (tori1423):

how do you solve

OpenStudy (swamijatin2):

Formula: s = rθ s = arc length r = radius of the circle θ = measure of the central angle in radians.

OpenStudy (marcelv):

I think I understand now, that is not the arc length, it is just the angle that is made by those lines. |dw:1463540499055:dw|If you see the picture we have a quadrilateral here, the sum of all internal angles is equal to 360, and we can tell that 2 of those must be 90 degrees, so we have x+90+90 +70 = 360, if you solve for x you will have the answer you seek.
