3 aspects of the U.S. foreign policy seen in the domino theory? help?

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

Contrary to what you might think, the domino theory has nothing to do with pizza. This idea came out of the Truman Doctrine to contain Communism where it existed and prevent it's spread. By the time of Eisenhower and Kennedy the feeling was that a bunch of little countries in a region would all go communist one by one if the first was knocked over. Like dominoes. So when the French got tired of fiddling around with their former colony in Vietnam. A Ho Chi Minh set up a communist government in its north. The US felt it was important to support the south and their attempt at democracy. We had just done the same thing in Korea. We also did every thing we could to support and befriend all the other countries in the area. We patrolled the seas, sent advisors and finally troops into South Vietnam.
