6. Design a new cereal box that will hold the same amount of cereal but reduce manufacturing costs. Prove that your new design holds the same amount but can be manufactured more cheaply. the original surface of area of the box is 272 and the original volume is 192. I can't figure out what number i need to work with.

Welcome to OpenStudy! A cheaper box would most likely be cheaper because it requires less material to make. Thus, a cube with a certain volume would require the least amount of material. If you were to elongate that box, making it narrower in the process, but keeping the volume the same, you'd find that you were using more material. This kind of problem is most easily solved using calculus. Familiar with that?
