Mehek (mehek14):

What are they looking for? `The outcome of the Supreme Court case ?`

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Use wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plessy_v._Ferguson upheld "the constitutionality of state laws requiring racial segregation in public facilities under the doctrine of "separate but equal" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_v._Board_of_Education the Court declared state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students to be unconstitutional.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Basically it seems to me that you are given a multiple choice question abot TWO supreme court cases and you can only choose one answer. To me then the answer is the very first one.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Plessy v. Ferguson was that separate but equal facilities did not violate the Constitution.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

u r welcome (actually with the information and links I posted you would have figured that out for yourself. Oh well :-)
