Graph (1/2)^x + 1

OpenStudy (loser66):

Where are you stuck?

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

I'm not really good at graphing anything that isn't in y = mx + b form, on second thought I could just make a table of points for x and y, should I just use -2,-1,0,1,2 for my x's or not?

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

(also that's meant to say y = (1/2)^x + 1

OpenStudy (loser66):

ok, do you know T table?

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

nope

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

wait

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

do you mean like this? :

OpenStudy (loser66):

|dw:1463623758168:dw|

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Yeah that's what I meant

OpenStudy (loser66):

ok, just give values of x ,then find y.

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

I never called it that, but that aside, do I just plug in -2,-1,0,1,2 for x? does it matter the numbers I use?

OpenStudy (loser66):

doesn't matter, just assign any of them and calculate y, then plot them.

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Okie. I got it from here. Thanks.
