OpenStudy (elifbestegul):

A ray of orange light passes from water to crown glass that has a refractive index of 1.5. The ray is refracted at an angle of 410 in the crown glass. Determine the original angle of incidence.

OpenStudy (nikks1992):

applying the same equation here ri of water = 1.33 so 1.33 sin x =1.5 sin 41 solving x = 47 degrees.

OpenStudy (elifbestegul):

This was the last one. Again, thank you so much. @nikks1992

OpenStudy (nikks1992):

:( Just when it was getting interesting..:P

OpenStudy (elifbestegul):

I just want to ask something; why did you put sin41 when it said 410 in the question? @nikks1992

OpenStudy (nikks1992):

oh i thought it was a typo and u meant to write 41 degrees.just change the 41 to 50 (410-360) and u will get ur answer.

OpenStudy (elifbestegul):

Okay, I thought so @nikks1992

OpenStudy (nikks1992):

it was fun..:)
