OpenStudy (mikieandjj):

plz help me out

Nnesha (nnesha):

tire is a circle right ?|dw:1463681896973:dw| whose diameter is 2.5ft radius is half of diameter r= d/2 what would be the radius ?

Nnesha (nnesha):

or you can use the formula \[\large\rm C=\pi d\] that would work too don't need to get the radius

Nnesha (nnesha):

substitute 2.5ft for d and then simplify

Nnesha (nnesha):

for part b\[\rm C \cdot \frac{1 mile}{5,280 ft}\]

Nnesha (nnesha):

convert ft to miles ^

OpenStudy (mikieandjj):

oh I already got it right thx

Nnesha (nnesha):

alright good.
