OpenStudy (adam8773):

Two triangles can be formed with the given information. Use the Law of Sines to solve the triangles. A = 56°, a = 16, b = 17 really need help on this one i don't know it at all

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

Do you know the formula for Law of Sines? We use that first to find angle B after we find angle B, we do: 180 - Angle B that helps give us the value for angle B in the second triangle And then you can continue to use the law of sines to solve the two triangles after you find angle C. Remember, the sum of all the angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (adam8773):

so then it will be 180- c or will it be the answer to 180- angle b - c?

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

There are two triangles We use law of sines normally and find angle B for the first triangle. To find out angle B for the second triangle, we do 180 - angle B of the first triangle To find the third angle of both of the triangles you use: 180 - A - B = C

And I like to use this handy dandy calculator to check my answers: http://www.mathwarehouse.com/triangle-calculator/online.php
