You're right. Chemistry. And yes, your feeling are correct. The Periodic Table is actually organized according to quantum mechanics, the field of physics which explains all of chemistry. And many other branches of science apply chemistry to understand the world. But in the framework of most introductory classes, the periodic table ill be introduced and used exclusively in Chemistry.
