Help pls medal and fan :) solve for y x=(3-4y)^2

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

Alrighty, so all you have to do is switch thm all to the other side,

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

And get y alone

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

how do i do that

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

Well for this one it would b quite complicated

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

That's 2 squared at the end right?

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

yes

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

?

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

y=3/4-sq root of x/4 ^2

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

im confused

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

Dam hold up

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

Its not multiple choice right?

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

no

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

The answer would be y = (3/4 - sq root of x/4)^2

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

how though

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

My phone isn't allowing me to make then square root thing

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

opposites

OpenStudy (cupcakehippo):

dfgsfgs

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

So if it were saying to divide by 3, I would multiply by 3 on the other side.

OpenStudy (nightcrawlers_):

Or vise versa. If it's asking u to subtract 3 you add three on both sides, so it cancels out on one side and adds on the other
