Ecology is important because you can learn about different species. One species might be attracted to a certain flower and you can learn if other species are attracted or not.

Conservation is important because you can save many endangered species. The more species that go extinct we lose a lot of history and we can never get it back. Most of the reasons species are going extinct are made by humans. Who says we get to trash the Earth because it's convenient for us.
