well first part number of trials means how many times they picked numbers. This is reall ythe combined frequencies

dot plot puts frequency as dots for each score. So low frequency means few dots. Then probability is given by \[\sum_{1}^{n} f(x_{k}) x _{k}\] Where f(xk) is the frequency of each score and xk the score proportion So you multiply the proportion by its frequency and sum those up to get average proportion which you can compare against the theoretical 60%.
