OpenStudy (voltsking2099):

Given the following functions f(x) and g(x), solve f[g(10)] and select the correct answer below: f(x) = 10x + 8 g(x) = x + 9 2,052 98 190 198

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Replace x in f(x) by x+9

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Then you can simply plug in value to get f(g(x))

OpenStudy (voltsking2099):

is it b

OpenStudy (will.h):

just like what @AravindaG said but i will clearify more. f(x) = 10x + 8 g(x) = x+9 substuitue x+9 instead of x in f(x) f(x+9)= 10(x+9) + 8 f(x+9) = 10x+ 90 + 8 f(x+9) = 10x+98 Now find substitue x=10 to find the number you looking for. f(10+9)= 10(10) + 98 f(10+9)= 198
