OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

Demonstrate using your own unique example how to divide a segment by a given ratio. Be sure to provide coordinates and a ratio that does not have a numerator or denominator of 1.

OpenStudy (will.h):

am not sure what the (given ratio is) but we can divide a segment using midpoint formula which says. \[M(x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2\] for example if the segment have the following points (4,2) (6,4) you can substitute the coordinates in the formula above to find the midpoint of the segment. again, not sure if that's the answer you're seeking, you can provide me with notes or explain the question. and i'll do my best. :)
