OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (will.h):

hey buddy

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

hey! can you please help @Will.H

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i am strugglling :/

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (will.h):

Let's take it slow. let me check the 1st question did you solve it? the train?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

yeah i kinda think its C. 60%

OpenStudy (will.h):

Great job. let me check the second

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

okok thank you

OpenStudy (will.h):

Is the question asking you to find the number of students who didn't sign neither for the art nor music? or what?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

art and music class

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

9 6 15 10 15 25 19 21 40

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i filled in the numbers

OpenStudy (will.h):

i think it is really given that 9 students are in art and music class. Let me solve the whole spaces lets start with number of student who not in art but they go to music class, it says the total is 15 and 9 students go to both, so you just have to subtract 15-9 and boom you got the 1st (Not in art but in music)

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i already solved the spaces! @Will.H look up

OpenStudy (will.h):

yeah you are right. good job! so what exactly are you asking for! your answers for the spaces are totally correct

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

yeah i know but idk how to get the answer

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

wait isnt it 9

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

since its asking whos in art and music

OpenStudy (will.h):

Yes that's what i told you in the first comment

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

oh wow sorry i wasnt thinking clearly x) next question then

OpenStudy (will.h):

okay, next beast

OpenStudy (will.h):

what do you have so far

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

okay so i got 74 so would it be B?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i divided .61 and .82

OpenStudy (will.h):

let me check, i don't want you to get it wrong.

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

oh okay thats fine thank you

OpenStudy (will.h):

isn't the question asking you to find the possibility that student takes both history and science? if so.. then why did you divide?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

yeah it is and idk i saw a queston similar and thought i had to divide as well

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

what did you get?

OpenStudy (will.h):

am not really sure, that's confusing. i might call someone who can help

OpenStudy (will.h):

@horsegirl27

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

okay thanks and while we wait can we try other questions ?

OpenStudy (will.h):

Sure

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (will.h):

for the 1st one: If the outcome of the first event has no effect on the probability of the second event, then the two events are called independent. What do you think and what did you get so far?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i put D since they arent independent they are dependent and arent equal to eachother

OpenStudy (will.h):

for example. if you divide the 2 possibility. will you get the answer of (1/12) which they listed?

OpenStudy (will.h):

who said they aren't independent?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i thought they wrent

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

what do you think it is

OpenStudy (will.h):

to make sure if they are independent or not you have to multiply both of the possibilities together and if you didn't get the answer of P(A and B) then they are independent. which is answer C

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

ohhhh okok i get it now

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

what about the next question?

OpenStudy (will.h):

i really never likes possibility. let me see the next one

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i think it is simple since it isnt giving any specific number

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

or anything else specific

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

can you help me finish fast? im sorry to rush but im time :/ and i only have 4 questions left @Will.H

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

im timed*

OpenStudy (will.h):

i think your answer makes since because it was picked randomly

OpenStudy (will.h):

studying at FLV?

OpenStudy (will.h):

okay sure upload all questions

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

yeah i thought so too and yes :/ its my last assignment

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

okay thank you!

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

thats it

OpenStudy (will.h):

what do you think for the 1st one?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

hmmm maybe B?

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

idk i just need to finish now :////

OpenStudy (will.h):

It's either A or C. am confused between them

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i will go with A

OpenStudy (will.h):

i would 2

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

okok thanks so what about the next question

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

with the confusing graph

OpenStudy (will.h):

OMG. what kind of question is that

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

idk but i guessed at put B

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i need to submit

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

what do you think

OpenStudy (will.h):

i'm not sure about this one, you are so in rush and it needs so much work. but my initial guess would be B

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

okay thanks

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

the third question i put C

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

made the most sense

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

i mean D

OpenStudy (jskinny0831):

its okay i finished and got a reasoble grade

OpenStudy (will.h):

C would be the right one, because the survey is about the 80 students

OpenStudy (will.h):

you did?

OpenStudy (will.h):

was it C or D
