OpenStudy (steheil2):

Please help I really need the help and no one is helping me

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

and the die will land on a number? .... do you mean even number or odd number?

OpenStudy (steheil2):

both

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

well the die will always land on a number, won't it? And the coin has a 1 in 2 chance of being heads.

OpenStudy (steheil2):

Im not sure it's either 1/6 1/12 1/2 1/4

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

Well the die will say either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. so you have a 100% chance of getting a number : probability = 1 and you have 50% chance of getting heads : probability = 1/2 since these are independent events ... just multiply the two to get your answer

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

\[1 \times \frac12=\frac12\]

OpenStudy (steheil2):

Thank you very helpful
