New Poem ;) feedback gives me life... Hint hint

Beauty to me

What is beauty you ask?
Is it something you see?
Or is it deeper?
Like the roots of a tree

Is it flawless skin?
A slim physique?
Or maybe that's just society?
Controlling what you think

Is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
Or simply good symmetry?
Is it a curse?
Or an ability?

What is beauty worth?
In the span of life, what does it really matter?
Is it worth all this?
When all it seems to do is divide and shatter

Because no one feels beautiful
We look at magazines, movies and models
We compare we pick
Big nose, fat thighs
Now apply your lipstick

Are we looking in the wrong place?
In a shallow pond we dig for gold
When the sea is where it holds

Should we be busy creating instead?
Learning skills and doing good deeds
Telling stories,
Rather then stressing about what you eat

Inside we're all the same
Beautiful souls
With plenty of love to hold
"Beauty"is empty
With no real warmth, only cold

This was absolutely beautiful!
As I was reading this all I could imagine was a person reading this in the spotlight of a dark room during a poetry night. This was so good. Very well written and it sends such a beautiful message.
