Please help.. What does it mean by "Find the expression for g(x)" when g(x)=x^2+2 and f(x)=1/x-5 ? Does f(x) even matter?
I don't understand what find the "expression" means.
I'd post the actual question (screenshot) cos that sounds like this: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/6f/a2/b3/6fa2b37c7165c9cdc061b6b1f599f543.jpg There's no way that is what the question asks
Perhaps the question was: "Find the expression for \(g(f(x))\)" Just a guess.
here is the actual question...
Lol wow. It really is that awful. Since they already gave you g(x), lol it's not very hard to answer A.
Is the answer "g of x"
They already gave you g(x) in the question. So post that as your answer (there was clearly a typo or mistake in this question, but it's in your favour)
I swear they're trolling me so hard rn I've been stuck with this question for 3 hours..
thank you!
Why would you waste so much time on it. They gave you g(x)=x^2 +2, and then they asked "what is g(x)?" lol
I thought it was a trap. It couldn't be that easy.. right... I was wrong.
That was part I. Bet you part two was what is f(x). and part III is what is f(g(x)) and part IV is what is g(f(x)).
