OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

is f(x)=2cosx+sin3x a sinusoid

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Graphing the function, I get http://prntscr.com/b79lre which is not a simple sine curve of the form y = k*sin(x). So it's not a sinusoid.

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

oh thanks, i couldn't get a graph of it for some reason @jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you typed in `2cos(x) + sin(3x)` right?

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

yes in ti84 calculator

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you may need to zoom out my window is xmin = -10 xmax = 10 ymin = -10 ymax = 10

OpenStudy (daisy.xoxo619):

oh i see thanks

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no problem
